Feb 1992: Started the project.

May 1995: Commenced research and development into Colloidal Platinum.

Jun 1999: R&D into the manufacture and application of ultra-fine metal particles was approved in accordance with the Act on Temporary Measures Concerning the Promotion of Creative Business Activities of Small and Medium Enterprises by the Governor of Tokyo.

Sep 1999: Filed for process patent for the manufacturing method for and manufactured metal colloid under the PCT. (Since then, Inovex Co., Ltd. has held the process patent for Colloidal Platinum in 12 countries, including Japan.)

Sep 2000: Non-alcoholic beverage containing Colloidal Platinum was approved by the Minister of Welfare.

Inovex’s colloidal platinum was registered as a raw cosmetic material by the CTFA (Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association, currently named Personal Care Products Council) for the first time worldwide.

Sep 2009:Sales Company, SAICA, was established for the sale and marketing of”sai”, a non-alcoholic beverage containing Colloidal Platinum. Since then, “sai” has been consumed by a total number of over 100,000 people in Japan.

Inovex is providing raw materials for cosmetics to name brand companies in Europe and Japan through our network of distributors. As a new anti-aging material, Colloidal Platinum has begun to attract attention worldwide. Colloidal Platinum holds great potential that has yet to be fully elucidated, and we have high expectations for even more effects from “platinum for consumable and topical use”.

In 2004 we moved our head office to Izu, Shizuoka, and our Aomori Factory began operations in 2010. As a result, we have created a better environment to provide safe and high quality products for our customers.
