Switched lighting in the factory to LED
In order to improve production control and quality control by HACCP, we have switched all lighting in the factory
from fluorescent lights to insect-proof LEDs.
Insect-proof LED lighting prevents the noxious insects attracted to
ultraviolet rays from the outside, eliminates the harm caused by glass
damage and contamination, and reduces CO2 emissions by long-life, power saving properties.

IMPORTANT Metal Allergy Triggers Identified for the First Time.
A team headed by Kazuya Higashisaka (Nano Safety Science) of Osaka University has
established a mouse model showing that contrary to existing belief metal allergies are not triggered by metal
ions but by the release of ions within the body by metal nanoparticles that are naturally occurring within
and outside of the body.
(Team results were published in the May 31st electronic edition of English-language science journal Nature
Nanotechnology.) While the study showed onset of allergy was caused by nanoparticles composed of nickel or
silver, it also showed that allergies were not triggered by minimally ionizable metallic gold nanoparticles
and non-metal amorphous silica (silicon dioxide) nanoparticles. The study thus showed for the first time that
having the capacity to emit metal ions works in a significant way to trigger metal allergies.
(From Osaka University, National University Corporation press release of June 10, 2016)
Many studies have confirmed the safety of the platinum nanoparticles contained within our colloidal platinum
product, showing among other conclusions that they are not absorbed into the body from the digestive system
and do not penetrate the epidermis when applied with a transdermal patch.
The recent Osaka University study did not specifically include platinum nanoparticle data,
but because platinum nanoparticles do not emit ions similarly to the gold nanoparticles in the study,
it can be assumed that they are non-allergenic and safe for use.

Success in measuring sound in "sai" : Music you can drink
Since last year, we have continued to conduct tests in order to measure the sound emitted by "sai".
We believe that "sai" is "Music you can drink",emitting sound based on its structure.
Researchers at Tokyo City University have successfully recorded sound from "sai"
by working out new measurement criteria.
The details will be published in a paper published by a lecturer at Tokyo City University.
We are planning to conduct further experiments to clarify the sound-generating mechanisms of "sai"
and the relationship between the sound and bio-phenomena.
